ARAN- A NEW FASHION TREND- AFTER A FEW CENTURIES OF TRYING
An Aran sweater is sometimes known as a fisherman’s sweater.
It always has a diamond pattern to it that makes it an Aran. The diamond represents a wish for prosperity.
So why now is it fashionable?
Well to be absolutely honest its fashionable if you think it is. Do not be led by what others tell you. If you like something- it is in your fashion.
Those who follow fashion will probably not agree but being `in fashion` is about feeling good about yourself, and looking good, as judged by you.

You might have Irish ancestry, most of us do as the Irish have always been great travellers.
Movie stars and pop stars across the generations have loved their Aran’s.
Elvis, Marilyn, Brigitte Bardo, Chris Evans, Taylor Swift, Isabelle Adjani, Paltrow, Princess Grace of Monaco and of course Steve McQueen.
And all of them looked, well, comfortable. Not trying too hard. Stylish and never out of date. Perfect for sailing, country walks, sitting by the fire, any
weekend excuse is good enough for an Aran.
